Halloween

It's been two years since I dressed my kiddos up and took some Halloween images of them so we were well overdue. We had fun this afternoon outside in the cool crisp autumn air. My little vampire got a little thirsty and started to attack spiderman and little poodle there wasn't at all excited about me having the camera out. She is certainly starting to assert herself. Her favorite saying right now is "No Mummy." Anyway, I know Halloween is not officially until Friday but I wanted to be ahead of the game for once this year. It's been a busy one that's for sure. So Happy Halloween everyone!

Geil Kiddos

Today I did a shoot for my dear girlfriend Deb. We tried something a little different in that I took my three kiddos to her house, dropped them off and collected her two to take them on a shoot. It was such a great time. These two are so precious. Couldn't be more different in terms of coloring, which is somewhat of a challenge for a photographer, but such sweet siblings. Normally I am trying to shoot her two with my three running around nearby. Can't tell you what a relief it was not to have those distractions today. Hope you enjoy the preview Deb. I'm having all kinds of fun with storyboards these days. Bet you can't tell that!!!!

I'm 35!

October was a big month for me. I turned 35! I had a fabulous birthday this year. The kids were super sweet, my Dad was here, I spoke with my Mum, my Mother-in-law and several of my girlfriends. My husband brought me flowers and so far hasn't even asked how much my new leather camera bag I ordered myself was....what a great guy! It was just a super day. My dear friend Celeste made me cake and brought me dinner so I didn't have to cook. It was just a very special day. I must say, the 30s have been stellar years so far. I can only hope the remaining 5 are as good as the first 5. There is just something unbelievable about the 30s.

I have been receiving many comments about seeing everyone else's images on the blog and very few of me so here are some taken just this morning. Celeste was kind enough to overcome the intimidating camera equipment and snap a few shots of me. Thanks Celeste!

Miss W!

Had a super fun shoot this weekend with a young lady celebrating a birthday (won't say what number this one was but you'd never believe it!). We had a great time. By the end of our session our fingers were nearly frozen as the temps dropped in this part of the country this week. I hear tomorrow we are expecting snow, already....say it isn't so! Anyway, hope you like the preview W!

Charlotte's Belly Button

It's no secret, my 19month old loves her belly button. And this is what she does with it.....looks painful doesn't it????

Kids Again

Have been playing around with my new camera and lens and loving it. The kids are getting a little tired of it but are still working it for me. Thankfully. These were taken around town with the help of Mo, my friend's 11 year old. She was a great helper - thanks Mo!

My Favorite

This is my favorite. Got to love this little one. She's such a doll.

Autumn Day at the Lake

Yesterday, on a whim, I took the kids to what we call the beach here in New Hampshire. It's actually a beautiful lake about 17 miles away. It looked like the last really nice day we would have for a while(according to our 24hour weather channel) so I packed up the kids and my camera and headed off. The state park was officially closed so thinking ahead, which doesn't happen much these days, I packed up the scooters and push car so we could make the trek a little easier on all of us! We rode into the park and down to the beach. Peyton was in such a "mood", he didn't really want me to take his photo but didn't want to be out of the frame either. After warning him not to go in the water, he got in and sat down, then got out and sat down in the sand. Didn't bring an extra set of clothes as I didn't think the water would be at all warm enough to wade in. What was I thinking???? So he had to ride home in his wet underwear. Managed to get a few shots of the kids. Enjoy!

The Kebalka Family

Had a shoot last night with an amazing family. This is a dear friend of mine who recently moved 45 minutes away- arghhh! We met out at her parent's amazing farm. Although these pictures don't show it, there are awesome old barns and rock walls all around the place. A photographer's dream!!!! The fall foliage is incredible right now which was an added bonus. We had two active boys and three dogs (no horses nibbling ears this year though :) !) to contend with and still managed to get in some shots. Here's a sneak peak!

The Gagne Family

Sunday afternoon I got to photograph The Gagnes. The kids were super cute and everyone did a fabulous job of just being themselves. I hope to have the previews complete by the end of the week but for now, here's a sneak peak!

The Geil Family Weekend

Had a busy weekend this weekend. Spent Saturday afternoon with the Geil Family. Three generations all together and everyone awake for the family picture. It was quite the challenge for me simply because it was by far the most families I've shot at one time. Was a great time and everyone was super helpful. Thank you all. I hope you enjoy the couple of sneak peaks.
